Paris Fashion Week Women's Spring/Summer 2027: Everything You Need to Know Before You Arrive

From September 28 to October 6, 2026, Paris reclaims what it has never ceased to be: the undisputed capital of fashion. The Paris Fashion Week Women's Spring/Summer 2027, organised by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), brings together this season 101 participating houses68 runway shows and 33 presentations — across a schedule of rare density, where every hour counts and every front row seat is negotiated behind the scenes long before the first invitations are printed.

This edition stands out for a particularly rich creative geography: anticipated returns, notable debuts, and a Japanese presence of such aesthetic coherence that it warrants, in itself, sustained attention. For those who intend to experience this week not as spectators but as participants — in the right rooms, at the right hours, with the right people — AC Private structures every detail in advance.

The Schedule: Key Days and Unmissable Moments

September 28: An Opening Defined by Africa

The week opens with a statement of intent. Maxhosa Africa, the house founded by South African designer Laduma Ngxokolo, makes its entrance into the official FHCM calendar on September 28 — a powerful signal of the geographic and cultural broadening of Parisian fashion. An opening to observe with the same attention one might give a promising debut novel.

September 30: The Season's Most Demanding Day

September 30 promises to be the most logistically demanding and creatively rewarding day of the season. Within the space of a few hours, The Row, Balmain, Dries Van Noten, Stella McCartney, Acne Studios and Tom Ford take the stage in succession — six radically distinct visions of the world, six aesthetics that share nothing in common, and as many transfers to orchestrate with surgical precision across a city that, on this particular day, will be saturated with taxis, black SUVs and press attachés in perpetual motion.

September 30 also marks the occasion on which Drew Henry presents his first runway show at the helm of Courrèges — a house whose futurist heritage calls for a contemporary reinterpretation that the industry is awaiting with undisguised curiosity.

October 1: Carven Reinvents Itself

The following day, Kai Nesselrath makes his debut at Carven, the house founded in 1945 by Marie-Louise Carven, whose light, almost weightless silhouette has traversed the decades without ever quite becoming fixed. A debut to follow closely for anyone drawn to stories of renaissance within French fashion.

The Japanese Presence: A Distinct Aesthetic Bloc

This season confirms what discerning observers have long understood: Paris is also, at its core, a capital of Japanese fashion. Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons and Sacai — whose return to the Parisian calendar is one of the defining moments of this edition — form a cohesive ensemble that interrogates garment-making at its very foundations: material, volume, the relationship between clothing and the body. Sacai, following a notable absence, returns to Paris with all the expectation and curiosity that such a comeback entails.
