How do you transport an artwork between France and the Czech Republic?
Via an approved art carrier: museum-standard packing, climate-controlled and air-ride vehicle, nail-to-nail insurance, and where applicable customs formalities and cultural-goods export licences. AC Private coordinates everything with its approved partners.
How do you insure a private art collection?
Through a specialist nail-to-nail policy arranged via a specialist broker, based on an up-to-date valuation established by an independent expert. The valuation should be reviewed periodically, notably after each acquisition.
Can you bid on my behalf at an auction?
Yes. We arrange absentee bids and proxy bidding with auction houses, while fully preserving your anonymity from the room.
What is a freeport and why store artworks there?
A freeport is a secure warehouse under a customs-suspension regime: artworks are kept in museum conditions with deferred taxation for as long as they remain inside. Geneva and Luxembourg are the European references.
Do you provide art investment advice?
No. AC Private facilitates access and orchestrates logistics; expertise and valuation opinions rest with independent experts. Art should first be collected out of passion.
