Four days a month, Strasbourg welcomes MEPs, their teams and thousands of visitors. Full hotels, tight schedules, demanding protocol: AC PRIVATE - A List concierge sets out the logistics of hosting a delegation, with the 2026 and 2027 plenary calendar.
Strasbourg · Plenary sessions 2026-2027 · Delegations
Strasbourg is the official seat of the European Parliament. Every session month, the city changes scale within hours: MEPs, assistants, officials, journalists, interest representatives and delegations from around the world converge on the European quarter. Hosting a delegation in this context is precision logistics.
The Strasbourg session calendar
Plenary sessions are held in the Louise Weiss building, Monday to Thursday. Remaining in 2026: 19-22 October, 23-26 November and 14-17 December. The 2027 calendar adopted by Parliament sets the following sessions:
- 18-21 January, 15-18 February, 8-11 March, 12-15 April;
- 24-27 May, 14-17 June, 5-8 July;
- 13-16 September, 4-7 October, 18-21 October;
- 22-25 November, 13-16 December.
The calendar may change; we reconfirm it against Parliament’s official sources before any booking.
Why planning ahead is decisive
During session weeks, Strasbourg’s hotels are in high demand and the best addresses are booked far in advance. Trains from Paris and flights into Strasbourg-Entzheim fill up, as do private rooms and sought-after tables on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. In December, the session coincides with the Christmas market, which adds further pressure.
What we organise for a delegation
Accommodation
Room blocks in hotels matched to the delegation’s level, private apartments for longer stays, or an entire residence for delegations that wish to stay together. For heads of delegation, we look for discretion and proximity to the European quarter.
Transfers and mobility
Personal welcome at the station or airport (Strasbourg-Entzheim, Basel-Mulhouse, Frankfurt), private drivers and dedicated vehicles, shuttles between hotel and Parliament, and timings aligned with the official programme.
Access and protocol
Have a project in mind?
Our experts are ready to create a bespoke experience for you.
Request a confidential consultationAccreditation and access badges for Parliament are handled exclusively by Parliament’s services and by the inviting MEP or institution. Our role is to prepare everything else: a detailed roadmap, timings, contacts, venue reconnaissance and respect for protocol.
Receptions and dinners
Working lunches, delegation dinners in a private room or residence, receptions with a private chef. Menus and running orders are adapted to dietary, cultural and religious requirements.
Additional services
Coordination of interpreters and meeting rooms outside Parliament, a partners’ programme, cultural visits, protocol gifts from Alsatian artisans and extensions to Colmar or the wine route.
A three-stage method
Before: receiving the programme, identifying needs, bookings and roadmap. During: a single point of contact available at all hours, with real-time adjustments if votes or meetings move. After: an organised departure and a debrief to prepare the next session.
Our corporate concierge and private concierge work together on these stays. In December, combine the session with the Alsace Christmas markets, the private way. Every proposal is personal and confidential — write to us through our contact page.
