Founded in 1927 by Elsa Schiaparelli, an exceptional figure of her era, the house invented a couture language steeped in surrealism, born of legendary friendships with Salvador Dalí and Jean Cocteau. To it we owe shocking pink, the vivid hue that became its signature, and an inimitable way of turning garments into works of art.

Based at 21 Place Vendôme in Paris, the house is today experiencing a dazzling renaissance under the artistic direction of Daniel Roseberry, who joined in 2019. His creations — gilded anatomical jewellery, sculptural silhouettes, unabashed drama — are among the most anticipated moments of Paris Haute Couture Week.
