Frequently asked questions
How much does a yacht charter cost?

The rate depends on the size of the vessel, the season, the cruising area and the crew. Weekly charters usually add running expenses (fuel, ports, provisions). We prepare a detailed, bespoke budget before any booking.
What is the difference between a motor yacht and a sailing yacht?

A motor yacht favours speed, interior volume and stable comfort; a sailing yacht offers quieter navigation, often a draught better suited to coves and a more sporting experience. We advise according to your programme.
How far in advance should I book?

For July and August in the Mediterranean, six to nine months are recommended; for event periods such as the Monaco Grand Prix, longer. Off-season, last-minute availability exists and we monitor it for you.
Can the itinerary be changed during the cruise?

Yes, within the limits of weather and port authorisations. The captain and our desk adjust the programme day by day, rebooking shoreside tables and transfers accordingly.
Do you also organise the stay ashore?

Yes: villas and palace hotels, starred tables, beach clubs, chauffeurs and helicopters are coordinated by the same AC PRIVATE teams, before and after the charter.
