ART x HOLLYWOOD, a legacy of a century of light
The HOLLYWOOD Monument Sign, symbol of the movie industry and L.A.'s landmark, is well known all over the world — tourists travel across the world to take a picture in front of the famous letters. For the centenary, artist and artistic director Olivier Pocholuck and his co-artist Vyki unveil “THE LEGACY of The HOLLYWOOD Monument Sign”, a sculptural tribute to a century of the Hollywood dream.
A project selected and validated by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce
The HOLLYWOOD Chamber of Commerce, which manages the image of “The Walk of Fame”, the “Hollywood Monument Sign” and “Hollywood Explore”, selected and validated Olivier Pocholuck's art project. This is the first project of its kind, and “THE LEGACY of The HOLLYWOOD Monument Sign” was exhibited in Monaco on 12 September.

The sculpture: steel, gold and gesture
The sculpture size is 1.80 m / 5.9 ft with a 24K Gold Brut Magnum Bottle. The magnum, placed inside the open steel bottle, detaches to stand on a table. This project was inspired by the artist's previous project “DRINK ART”: Olivier Pocholuck wanted the work to be not just an object to look at, but interactive and modifiable.
